How outrageous are prices on Stardoll nowadays?

Used to be, $10 would get you $100stardollars!

And before that you'd get $50 with a free account, and you could buy superstar for $20 stardollars.

Would you drop 20 real dollars for for one piece of virtual clothing? No way.

They've made the Money to Stardollar ratio smaller, but still. You could send 20 broadcasts, a few clothes, and send 4-6 gifts...or get one piece of clothing...and some of its' not even fashionable!

1. When did you join Stardoll?

Sarah_is_Yellow: I originally joined Stardoll in March of 2008, with my Sarah_Is_Purple account. But then I made this account (Sarah_Is_Yellow) in May.

2. What was your method of making you name known?

Sarah_is_Yellow: Broadcasting contributes greatly to someones 'popularity' on here, as well as making a bunch of friends. Being nice to those friends and others helps as well. ^.^ haha

SpriteAllie: Sending broadcasts, making a creative suite, and making lots of friends

misskrissxo: Making a club, having people join, making new friends, trading, doing nice things for others

3. Do you like the attention you get?

Sarah_is_Yellow: I don't get much attention, but when I do I enjoy it. Unless you get someone who just wants to be rude to you, and call you names. Then I don't like it.

SpriteAllie: I never really thought I got that much attention, I mean the only reason I'd get attention is for my collection of rare items or for my medoll or for my suite, not for who I am on the inside.

misskrissxo:Im not about creating attention for myself, im very humble, but a little lime light action always makes a girl feel great.

4. What are your future plans for Stardoll?

Sarah_is_Yellow: I hope that my future on Stardoll is filled with great friends, and great fashion! That's my plan. c:

SpriteAllie: I guess you could say I may fall out a little bit because of school, but it would probably be just to stay on and talk to my friends and keep buying the real brands that come and go in the starplaza.

misskrissxo: Truely, I come on stardoll to design, sell clothes, and decorate as well as having my club, Glam Magazine, and helping others get rare items.

Like many, I took advantage of this and made many copies of older designs.

Now, however I don't want to sell them, I want to save them and wait untill they're worth more!
